Mamacita Matadora (FR) is a multifaceted artist born in the Provençal lands who navigated the Belgian scene with her Grrrl-post-punk band, Bengal. Returning to her native land, she launched her solo project and released a debut EP titled "RECLAIM."
These initial tracks set the tone for her approach: seizing the space of the stage with her music, much like the streets with her roller skates. Mamacita sings over raw and spontaneous productions that she composes with heart and guts, a celebration of the freedom to create simply for pleasure and to invite everyone to do the same. In terms of sound, we oscillate between Coldwave, Electropunk, and ultra-sensitive shlag music. In her live performances, Mamacita's mesmerizing stage presence captivates the audience, enhancing this compelling blend of genres.
